Looking for gifts for that work from home person in your life? Below are some of our personal favorites, but first, ensure your WFH recipient already has all the essentials (desk, chair, headset, etc; a complete list can be found here). Assuming all their essential needs are met, then read on to the best work from home gifts of 2023.
Here are our top picks for the best work from home gifts for 2023:
1.) Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug 2 (14 oz)
I received this for Christmas (2022) and love it. It keeps my lattes and coffee warm which cuts down on having to top off my cup to warm it up. This means more time in productivity mode.
The app is easy to use, and I personally like to keep my drinks a few degrees cooler than the recommended settings.
The cup cleans up well and the scratch-resistant coating has been living up to it’s name.

2.) Heated Blanket
Another personal favorite of mine. I often run a bit on the cold side and keep a heated blanket nearby. The kids love it too, and it’s usually in one of their rooms when I can’t find it near my desk.

3.) Bluetooth Speaker
Put on some wireless tunes or listen to your favorite podcasts or audiobooks. I’m planning to pick up the white Bose one below someday as it matches my WFH setup.

4.) Sweatshirt/Hoodie
I’m a fan of the 1/2 zip sweatshirts, and you can even toss them over a collared dress shirt (while working from home) while still looking presentable on video calls. They’re pretty versatile; you can wear them in the gym or around town too.

5.) Yoga mat
Remember to stretch! Great in the morning, afternoon, and/or evening. I imagine it helps counteract sitting in a chair all day too. The Manduka PRO Yoga Mat is a fan favorite.

6.) For the writer
I personally enjoy a quality fountain pen and notebook like the Kaweco Sport and Rhodia (soft cover A5 version) below. The Travelers Notebook has become my recent personal favorite. You can customize it with different inserts and easily slip in refillable notebooks.

7.) For the Traveler
This can make for a nice background addition in video calls or as a nice décor piece anywhere in the home. Ours has gotten a bit beat up over the years; I recommend placing it in a frame.

8.) For the Espresso Lover
I recently replaced my Breville Barista Express with the Breville Bambino. I start off almost every morning with a home brewed latte. This is a bit of an upfront expense but saves a ton if you often frequent coffee shops.
The Bambino has a faster heat up time and saves a lot of room on countertop space. It does not come with the built-in grinder like the Barista Express so be aware that a hand grinder or electric grinder will be needed.
